Cairo, Egypt, 2009 | Iwen Swirl is an outdoor kitchen element made from wood and fibreglass and playing with the duality of two colours in the ancient Egyptian sense of “Iwen”. The design of the table is generated from a flat rectangular piece – The shape is generated by simply folding it along predefined lines.
The prototype of the table was manufactured by Hardwood in Cairo and exhibited at the 2009 Milan Furniture Fair.
